60th Anniversary of Language Movement

Bengali Shamagra Museum observed the 60th anniversary of the Language Movement recently. On the occasion, a 20-ft canvas, featuring the mass uprising from 1952 to 1971, was formally unveiled for painting by the chief guest, Finance Minister AMA Muhith. A 15-day book exhibition on the Language Movement is also on.

The exhibition remains open from 10am to 8pm at the Bengali Shamagra Museum on Elephant Road, Dhaka.

Bengal Printmaking Studio opens

Bengal Foundation offers opened any printmaking studio last month 25. “Safiuddin Bengal Printmaking Studio” is found at Bengal Middle at Khilkhet, about New International airport Road, Dhaka.
